दम्पती रथमारोप्य महत्या सेनया वृतौ । स्‍नेहप्रक्लिन्नहृदयो यापयामास कोशल: ॥ ५२ ॥

dampatī ratham āropya mahatyā senayā vṛtau sneha-praklinna-hṛdayo yāpayām āsa kośalaḥ

Synonyms

dam-patī—the couple;ratham—their chariot;āropya—having them mount;mahatyā—by a large;senayā—army;vṛtau—accompanied;sneha—with affection;praklinna—melting;hṛdayaḥ—his heart;yāpayāmāsa—sent them off;kośalaḥ—the King of Kośala.

Translation

The King of Kośala, his heart melting with affection, had the bride and groom seated on their chariot, and then he sent them on their way surrounded by a great army.
