या ह्युपयुञ्जानानां मुखनिर्वासितो वायु: समन्ताच्छतयोजनमनुवासयति ॥ २३ ॥
Text
yā hy upayuñjānānāṁ mukha-nirvāsito vāyuḥ samantāc chata-yojanam anuvāsayati.
Synonyms
yāḥ—which (those flows of honey);hi—indeed;upayuñjānānām—of those who drink;mukha-nirvāsitaḥvāyuḥ—the air emanating from the mouths;samantāt—all around;śata-yojanam—up to one hundredyojanas(eight hundred miles);anuvāsayati—makes sweetly flavored.
Translation
The air carrying the scent from the mouths of those who drink that honey perfumes the land for a hundred yojanas around.
