Devanāgarī

अहो एषां वरं जन्म सर्वप्राण्युपजीवनम् । सुजनस्येव येषां वै विमुखा यान्ति नार्थिन: ॥ ३३ ॥

Text

aho eṣāṁ varaṁ janma sarva-prāṇy-upajīvanam su-janasyeva yeṣāṁ vai vimukhā yānti nārthinaḥ

Synonyms

aho—oh, just see;eṣām—of these trees;varam—superior;janma—birth;sarva—for all;prāṇi—living entities;upajīvinam—who provide maintenance;su-janasyaiva—like a great personality;yeṣām—from whom;vai—certainly;vimukhāḥ—disappointed;yānti—go away;na—never;arthinaḥ—those who are asking for something.

Translation

Just see how these trees are maintaining every living entity! Their birth is successful. Their behavior is just like that of great personalities, for anyone who asks anything from a tree never goes away disappointed.
