दूत उवाच इति मागधसंरुद्धा भवद्दर्शनकाङ्क्षिण: । प्रपन्ना: पादमूलं ते दीनानां शं विधीयताम् ॥ ३१ ॥

dūta uvāca iti māgadha-saṁruddhā bhavad-darśana-kaṅkṣiṇaḥ prapannāḥ pāda-mūlaṁ te dīnānāṁ śaṁ vidhīyatām

Translation
The messenger continued: This is the message of the kings imprisoned by Jarāsandha, who all hanker for Your audience, having surrendered to Your feet. Please bestow good fortune on these poor souls.
