Devanāgarī
अथ तस्मै भगवते नमस्कृत्य पितामह: । भवश्च जग्मतु: स्वं स्वं धामोपेयुर्बलिं सुरा: ॥ २७ ॥
Text
atha tasmai bhagavate namaskṛtya pitāmahaḥ bhavaś ca jagmatuḥ svaṁ svaṁ dhāmopeyur baliṁ surāḥ
Synonyms
atha—after this;tasmai—unto Him;bhagavate—unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead;namaskṛtya—offering obeisances;pitā-mahaḥ—Lord Brahmā;bhavaḥca—as well as Lord Śiva;jagmatuḥ—returned;svamsvam—to their own;dhāma—abodes;upeyuḥ—approached;balim—King Bali;surāḥ—all the other demigods.
Translation
Then Lord Brahmā and Lord Śiva, after offering their respectful obeisances to the Lord, returned to their abodes. All the demigods then approached Mahārāja Bali.
